Jeff Burrows (of Windsor, Ontario) is the drummer and percussionist for Canadian rock band Crash Karma, and The Tea Party.
Jeff Burrows begun drumming at eleven years of age and professionally so since 1990 when he joined childhood friends Jeff Martin and Stuart Chatwood in forming The Tea Party. Burrows' style is influenced by jazz drummers including Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa and Max Roach, as well as rock drummers Neil Peart and Stewart Copeland.
Besides his career with The Tea Party, Jeff has played with Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, and other Canadian musicians. The Tea Party is currently on their Canadian "No Politics... Just Rock and Roll" Tour.
As of January 2007 Burrows was presenting the midday shift on The Rock, a Blackburn radio station in Windsor. Burrows continues to record music including with independent band Johnny Hollow, on their album Beyond the Flame and, Lebanese rock band The Kordz.
Jeff is no stranger to using his talents to benefit charity. Charities such as The White Ribbon Campaign (an organisation of men working to end men's violence against women), Transition to Betterness, The Cancer Society and now St. Clair College and The Hospice have all benefited greatly from Burrow's generosity. |
JODY RAFFOUL may originally be from a small town in Southern Ontario, but his diverse career as a working class pop-rock singer/songwriter has continued to put him in the spotlight in the United States.
Already a reliable “critic’s pick” in the Detroit region, Jody performs over 200 shows a year and has opened for: Collective Soul, Kid Rock, Nickelback, Joe Cocker, Blues Traveler, Richard Marx, Counting Crows, The Allman Brothers Band, Uncle Kracker, John Entwhistle, Chris Isaak, Paul Rodgers and most recently Bon Jovi.
At home in a small club or the big stage, his signature voice and compassionate stage presence has been described as a hybrid mix of Bono and Bruce Springsteen making every performance unique which is what helped Jody to become the National WINNER of the 2006 Bon Jovi “Have a Nice Gig” Contest, hand-picked and announced personally by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. He went on to open a sold out show at Giant’s Stadium in Bon Jovi’s home state, New Jersey, alongside fellow Canadians, Nickelback.
